Cotes-du-Rhone Vignobles Gonnet

£12.50

Ripe, dark-red fruit. A touch spirity on the nose but a little bit stony/dusty too. Chewy and honest fruit on the palate. Straightforward, relatively restrained, and balanced, with sufficiently chewy tannins. This superb Côtes du Rhône is made by brothers Bertrand and Guillaume Gonnet at their family Domaine. The vineyards are situated on the right bank of the Rhône at Domazan in the Gard department. This exceptional terroir enables them to make a wine that is elegantly pitched between ripe-fruited richness and lively freshness.
